In addition to the RKN, which are engaged in blocking online gambling operators, the Federal Tax Service has joined the fight against illegal gambling on the network. Their goal is to compile and replenish the black list of operators whose payments will be blocked by banks and payment systems.
The famous scripting site Azino777 entered the first batch of the black list. This was back in January 2019. Recently, another 16 companies were added to the blacklist, with which financial institutions are prohibited from conducting transactions. The list includes companies that own fairly well-known brands. Here are some of them: 1xbet, MarathonBet, Energy Casino, Futuriti Casino, Argo Casino, BetItAll, Vavada.
At the beginning of the summer, new measures to combat gambling were announced. Then the RKN called on VPN services to connect to the database of prohibited resources and block them. To which 9 out of 10 companies refused. The warning period that was given to companies has already expired. But according to recent data, the head of the RKN said that for the time being, no measures would be applied to violators. They are waiting for the state to approve a significant increase in fines.
At the same time, the RKN continues to put pressure on Google. They are required to 100% remove banned sites from search results. So far this does not happen, and the efficiency is observed in the region of 70-80%. At the moment, the possibility of imposing a fine on the search engine in the amount of 700,000 rubles is being considered. This is reportedly the maximum amount under current legislation.
